Live! is a mini-application that runs from inside a browser and doesn't require any special FlightView software to be installed. Full motion flight tracking. Using specially developed software, Live! offers computer animation that propels the aircraft forward to its destination or to a diversion airport. Animation coordinates with speed and airplane icon reorients to last known reported heading. Planned flight route, from start to finish, is overlayed onto map and plane flies along the blue line.

Passive tracking for convenience. Live! was designed to run outside of the workflow of the main or parent browser window. This design feature enables the user to continue surfing and not worry about going back or following new links forward. No queries, no waiting. By taking Live! "offline" we also removed the need for users to waste time reentering a flight query and waiting for results. Simply clicking over to the Live! tab reveals the latest known flight status, instantly. The visual mapping of flight position minimizes the time needed for users to assess the situation before returning to other programming.

Live! offers customization on the fly. Live! offers the most relevant controls to optimize viewing to the tastes of the user: weather and zoom. If the user feels nervous watching loved ones fly around storms, they can simply disengage the weather. Users can zoom in and see the aircraft actually moving or zoom out and see the flight route on a global scale.

Replay what you might have missed. Since no one sits and stares at Live! all the time, we added a Replay Mode that allows users to rewind and replay the flight from departure to current position. With Replay, users don't have to miss a moment, whether it's an 18 hour flight from LAX to Singapore or an 18 minute flight from LAX to San Diego.
